NikpV Posted June 22, 2006 Report Posted June 22, 2006 Well house is packed into cardboard boxes - contracts were exchanged eventually (no thanks to those incompetent solicitors 'ooo the suns come out best check with number 3 in the chain oh no its gone in check with number 1 instead excuse after excuse' :wacko: on monday.Removal men arriving at 8.00 in the morning wife is now nagging me to pack up the computer (what am I going to do for the rest of the evening??) Demon account terminated - talked to nice lady in india, live chat with eric from bombay, emailed CS, sent recorded delivery letter - ah you think thats overkill nah they will still try and charge me in August - guaranteed. Zen account won't be up for a week and apparently I'm going to be too busy to talk to you guys for a while (she should co-co). Will look in from work from Tuesday next week providing you haven't said pornography or sh*t in a post 'cos then it bans me from looking :( I'll see how long I can keep the connection tonight :wacko: see you all soon - have fun Quote

NikpV Posted August 3, 2006 Author Report Posted August 3, 2006 well thanks for the sentiments folks - except MM - incidently how much did you pay BT to put the wires in the wrong holes - it took them three days to work out why the phone didn't work and three weeks to find out that they had wired the broadband into a different number. Jeez how they find their arse with both hands beats me. Oh you didn't pay them, they did it as a standard service well BJ you should be proud :( :( Apart from the plastering, decorating, plumbing, gardening - not to mention school holiday entertaining we are about settled - not hopefully will be able to get here a bit more often than in the last month or so :) Quote

mumof4 Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 Dont have cable....and no landline phone.i dont have incomeing or outgoing calls....and i like it that way..i switched from talk talk to Toucan ages ago..TT dropped the line but Toucan never picked it up..i was annoyed at first but not bothered now as i still have the internet.I pay no landline to anyone....its cool...means the outlaws and family dont ring us as much!!...pmsl Quote
